Rules
1) Beach chairs are set up daily by coastal beach service attendants starting at 8:00 am CST. Please check in with the attendant daily for service.
2) Service is not available between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm CST because the attendant is on their mandatory lunch break.
3) Beach chairs must be picked up daily by 5:00 pm CST to avoid fines from Walton County.
4) Beach chairs are set up in specific designated locations determined by Walton County. Moving chairs outside the vendor zone or encroaching on the area around lifeguard stations can result in fines, which will be passed on to the guest if issued by Walton County Code Compliance. To avoid this, please don’t move or ask an attendant for assistance.
5) All unattended equipment must be removed from the beach. Walton County provides a 11:30 am to 1:00 pm window for unattended equipment to remain on the beach, allowing guests time to get lunch. Before or after this timeframe, the attendant will remove any unattended equipment after a 30-minute period. Chairs can be reset if you return.
6) In case of imminent weather (heavy wind or rain), the attendant may close your umbrellas for your safety. If your umbrella is closed or has a rubber band around it, please don’t open it without an attendant’s assistance.
7) Damaged equipment during your stay will incur charges for misuse or negligence. The estimated cost to replace a beach chair is $250, and the cost to replace a beach umbrella is $350.
Please note that beach service is unavailable if Walton County is under an active state of emergency or if the coastal beach service doesn’t have enough space to set up chairs according to Walton County beach ordinances.
Here are the daily steps to get your beach service:
- Step 1: Check in with the attendant on-site. Provide them with your property name and last name.
- Step 2: Follow them to where they will set up your beach service.
- Step 3: Set your things down and enjoy our beautiful beach! Reminder, unoccupied sets will be broken down.
